Teeth Whitening Options:

LED teeth whitening is one of the most effective ways to achieve a noticeably brighter smile. A peroxide-based gel is applied to the teeth, and the LED light activates it — breaking down stains and discoloration quickly, safely, and without harming your enamel. Professional LED whitening is designed to work efficiently, and your hygienist will help set realistic expectations based on your unique oral health profile.

We offer four tailored options to suit your lifestyle and comfort level — three in-office packages or our PAP NeaTeeth Peroxide-Free strips for a gentle, at-home alternative.

Maintaining a bright smile after a teeth whitening treatment is crucial. With proper care, the effects of the treatment usually last between six to twelve months. It is highly recommended to schedule maintenance applications with your hygienist every six months to ensure long-lasting results.

Maintenance whitening sessions are available as an add-on to your regular re-care hygiene appointment. Ask your hygienist about whitening options at your next visit.

For most of our clients they do not experience any sensitivity after the treatment.  Although in some individuals, it may cause short-term sensitivity. Fortunately, this sensitivity typically fades within a day or two following a whitening session. To reduce any discomfort, we recommend using an anti-sensitivity toothpaste before and at least two weeks after your treatment. .
Teeth whitening products are considered safe for your dental enamel when used as directed. To ensure safe usage, it is recommended to consult with your dental provider before using any such products. If you experience any tingling sensation in your teeth, STOP and contact your hygienist.  Your hygienist can provide the necessary guidance and advice in order to prevent nerve damage.

Dental insurances do NOT cover cosmetic services. If you have a Health Spending Account from your employer, you can submit to them for reimbursement for teeth whitening.
Tooth staining can be categorized into two types: intrinsic and extrinsic. Intrinsic stains are located within the inner structure of your teeth, while extrinsic stains are present on the surface (enamel) of your teeth.
If you have tried whitening before but your teeth have not responded the way you would like; you can discuss with your family dentist other cosmetic procedures like dental crowns or veneers that may be more appropriate for your situation.

Teeth whitening only works on natural teeth and cannot whiten dental restorations like crowns or veneers. It's recommended to undergo teeth whitening before getting dental restorations so the color of the crown or veneer can match your new brighter shade!
